About Maxine
Hello! I'm currently in the final year of my Master of Information Technology at the University of Western Australia and hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance. I have a strong background in mathematics, IT, business, and economics. As a volunteer tutor with Girls Programming Network, I taught coding to children aged 5–12 and developed a passion for helping young learners grow in confidence. I am patient, friendly, and reliable, and I enjoy creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills. My goal is to help every student reach their potential while making learning enjoyable and rewarding.

I provide personalised lessons based on each student's learning level, goals, and pace. I believe every child learns differently, so I explain concepts in a simple and engaging way, using examples and step-by-step problem solving to build confidence and understanding. My lessons usually last 60 minutes and include reviewing previous content, learning new concepts, guided practice, and feedback.
I am currently in the final year of my Master of Information Technology at the University of Western Australia and hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance. I have volunteered as a coding tutor with Girls Programming Network, teaching children aged 5–12. I tutor primary and high school students in Maths, English, Coding, Business, and Economics, and I aim to help students not only improve their academic results but also develop confidence, curiosity, and independent learning skills.
