About Khalid
I’m a math student at the University of Waterloo with 4 years of experience tutoring middle school and high school students. I’ve helped many students improve their grades, confidence, and overall understanding of math by breaking down difficult concepts into simple, clear steps.
Because I’m still actively studying math, I understand what makes topics confusing and how to explain them in a way that actually makes sense. My goal isn’t just to help you get the right answer - it’s to help you understand why it works so you can solve problems on your own.
Students can expect a patient, supportive environment where questions are always welcome and progress is the priority.

I teach math with genuine passion and focus on helping you actually understand what you’re doing - not just memorize steps for a test. My lessons usually start with the core idea behind a concept, then we go through examples together, and finally you try problems with my support so you build confidence and independence. I always encourage questions and try explaining things in different ways until it clicks.
What sets me apart is that I’m a current math student myself, so I get where things start to feel confusing and I know how to break them down in a way that makes sense. I aim to make math feel approachable, logical, and even enjoyable.
My lessons are for middle school, high school, and first-year university students.
