About Steven
I graduated Summa Cum Laude as the "Top Biochemistry Student" from Stonehill College with a B.S. in Biochemistry and then graduated as the "Top Linguistics Student" from the University of Alicante with an M.A. in Spanish and English Linguistics.
Having earned top scores on the MCAT & USMLE Step 2CK, I am now completing my M.D. at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. I have authored more than 70 peer-reviewed journal articles, oral presentations, poster presentations, and book chapters in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
I have over five years of individualized and classroom-level tutoring & advising experience. I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels. I am dedicated to my students and passionate about seeing them achieve their academic and professional goals!

(1) Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry: We will build a custom schedule individualized to your specific strengths and weaknesses. I am a proponent of active learning styles that incorporate regular quizzing, practice problems, and the application of learned concepts to new scenarios.
(2) Essay writing: We will create a rough draft, explore techniques to improve your writing, and work sentence by sentence to create the perfect essay.
(3) Medical school application preparation: We'll discuss all application areas and look at resources, activities, and competitions to build you into a competitive applicant!
