About Sareena
Hi! I'm a high school student who loves math and has a passion for teaching it! I have two younger siblings at home, so I know how to create a calm, supportive space for young students to learn and grow.
Outside of tutoring, I do Kung Fu, which I mentor younger students in as well! It helps me to develop strong communication skills and the ability to guide and support students in a positive and encouraging way.
I know that learning can feel overwhelming at times, especially when concepts aren’t explained in a way that makes sense. Because I’ve been through the school system recently, I try to explain things in a simple, relatable way and meet students at their level.

I offer one-to-one online tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s learning style and pace. My approach focuses on building strong foundations, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
I adapt my teaching style depending on the student, whether they need more structure, repetition, or a slower pace and prioritize encouragement and guidance.
Lessons are typically an hour and on a weekly basis through web meetings, but this can be tailored towards students needs.
As a current VCE student studying Math Methods and General Mathematics, I have a huge love for math and strong math skills. As a recent student myself, I can explain concepts in a way that is relatable and easy to understand for young students.
My lessons are designed for primary school students (Years 1–6) who
