About Fiona
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 14 years of experience teaching high school and college students. During this time, I have taught over 300 students, helping them develop technical skills, confidence, and a love for music. My teaching approach combines structured lessons with creative exercises, ensuring that every student learns while enjoying the process.
One of my proudest milestones has been mentoring students to perform successfully at college events and competitions, witnessing their progress and excitement firsthand. I focus on nurturing musical expression, discipline, and self-belief, aiming to inspire each student to develop a lifelong connection with music and a unique musical voice.

I teach guitar using a structured and student-friendly methodology built on communication, accountability, and integrity. I encourage accountability by helping students maintain consistent practice habits and set clear learning goals. Regular feedback supports steady improvement. Integrity guides my teaching approach. I focus on correct technique, posture, and musical basics to ensure long-term success.
Lessons are designed based on the student’s learning speed and musical preferences. I include exercises, rhythm practice, and song learning to keep lessons engaging. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, improvisation, and composition basics to strengthen musical understanding.
My approach is calm, motivating, and supportive. I help students improve confidently while enjoying guitar lessons.
