About Ryan
Over several years, I have taught both privately and publicly, including several conservatories and music schools across the nation and around the world. An honors graduate of the Harris Institute in Toronto, I carved out my career by helping both hobbyists and professionals with not only music lessons, but also as a working musician and sound engineer. And if songwriting, composition, and arranging are of interest to you, I was also at the top of the class in both Music Theory 2 and Composition and Arranging at Harris. Are you looking for fun, affordable guitar or piano lessons? Hi, my name is Ryan. I've been a musician for over 25 years and a teacher for almost 15. I offer in-home music lessons. Whether you're young or old, and regardless of your preferred style and interests, there is something for everyone.
I also teach bass and ukulele if you are looking for combination lessons or have siblings with different musical interests.

I've used Ryan as both a music teacher and hired him to play at my wedding.
He taught me guitar on a weekly basis and he was dedicated, patient and extremely knowledgeable.
At my wedding, he played his guitar for our guests before the ceremony and then played the songs I requested for when I was walking down the aisle, signing the certificate and walking out with my husband. It was so special and I would highly recommend his services to anyone!Ryan has done an awesome job teaching my child how to play guitar. My kid has some learning disabilities as well as social anxiety and Ryan has been the best music teacher they have ever had.
I have used Ryan for a year now. He can play and teach all genres and will adapt to what you want to learn. He is a wealth of information and skill. He makes it enjoyable so you will learn quickly and look forward to the next session.
