About Caitlyn
I have been working with children since the age of 16, beginning with tutoring younger students who were struggling during high school. After graduating, I made the decision to continue my career working with youth. Over the past eight years, I have served as a case manager, advocating for families and children while also providing resources, strategies, and innovative approaches to overcoming learning challenges. I believe that no child is inherently difficult to work with; rather, each child is unique in their learning style. This understanding drives me to be creative and think outside the box in order to tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of each child.

My approach to teaching is centered on meeting students where they are, ensuring that the material is presented in a way that is accessible and easy to understand. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simpler, manageable parts while providing comprehensive information on the topic. My experience in education has been shaped by my roles as a latchkey leader during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as my work with Head Start programs and my academic background in college. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to adapt my teaching methods to various learning styles and foster a supportive and effective learning environment.
