About Dr Roop
I am a qualified Veterinarian holding a BVSc & AH degree along with a Master’s in Veterinary Anatomy with a minor in Veterinary Surgery from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana — one of India’s most prestigious veterinary universities. I have also completed research work as part of my postgraduate studies, giving me a strong foundation in scientific methodology and evidence-based learning. I am currently based in Tracy, California, and am a BCSE-cleared professional preparing for the NAVLE licensing exam in the USA.
With an advanced academic background in life sciences, I have deep expertise in Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Biology. My teaching approach focuses on genuine concept clarity — I help students truly understand the “why” behind every topic rather than just memorizing facts. I adapt my explanations to each student’s learning style, making even the most complex topics approachable and easy to retain.
I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, and I am experienced at working with students from diverse backgrounds.
