About Fiona
Hi, I'm Fiona! I earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Education (B.S.) from Virginia Tech — a nationally top-ranked engineering and technology university with an outstanding computer science program. I have 5 years teaching coding to K-12 and college entry-level students through online one-on-one sessions. My "project gallery" system has helped students stand out dramatically in college applications — one student credited her lesson portfolio gallery as the key factor in earning a competitive computer science scholarship at her dream university. I have guided beginners through first Python programs, supported AP Computer Science students, and helped college freshmen tackle Java and data structures. I was recognized with the Best Portfolio-Building STEM Educator Award from a US platform. Real projects, real portfolio, real opportunities — that is what my lessons build.
