I have been Divakar’s student for a year. Before joining, I was skeptical about singing and always feared judgement. Divakar has created safe space for me to fault, and without judgement helped me to learn the basics. He is very patient and ensures that I focus on the right technique and taught me easy physical ways to reach higher notes (and lower ones). I now feel confident singing by myself, practice (and sometime in front of others) and look forward to our classes and his mentorship. I’d highly recommend him!

So I have known Divakar for a very long time now, long enough to consider him a great friend and perhaps one of the best music teachers I've ever had the chance to learn from. I have been Divakar's student for more than 2 years now, he has helped me expand my vocal range and understand my vocal strengths and weaknesses. We continue to experiment with different warm up exercises and find out the potential that I hold. He has helped me discover and and work with many different genres of music. Divakar and his detailed approach to technique really helped me figure out why I couldn't sing higher notes. After starting my lessons with him I feel I have better command over my voice. He is also very patient while teaching and has an efficient curriculum for any kind of student.

Divakar is wonderful piano teacher who I would recommend to piano players on all skill levels. I came in as someone re-learning how to play the piano and Divakar made sure to adapt our lessons to my exact skill level. We charted out things I wanted to work on early on and we've been sticking to our plan ever since.

On top of playing piano, Divakar and I also routinely talk about all things music production. This is something I really cherish as it's tough to find a piano teacher who also dabbles in production. Having Divakar around to ask any and all questions has been a huge boost to my learning journey.

Singing has always been challenging for me. Part of that challenge is technical and Divakar has helped me extend my range by 8 semi-tones, develop clarity and bring more consistency to my pitching. But more importantly, the challenge is psychological. Believing I can get better and making me want to practice. This has been the biggest gain and something I've not gotten from other coaches I've worked with. I highly recommend him to anyone, but especially if you feel under-confident or unsure about how to learn and how to perform.

Been a student under Divakar for more than a year now. He has complete comprehension of all topics ranging from beginner to expert. Every class and topic feels tailor made for your level and understanding. Divakar has an excellent approach towards keeping the class fun and interesting at the same time.
