About Joshua Elliott
Hello! My name is Josh and I trained on the BA Acting: Musical Theatre course and the MFA Voice Studies: Teaching and Coaching course at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I began teaching 7 years ago and absolutely loved making connections with clients and being able to help them achieve their goals whether that may be focusing on specific technical issues or building their confidence.
I returned to The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2019 to train on the MFA Voice Studies: Teaching and Coaching course to further my knowledge and understanding of voice and now work as a freelance Voice and Dialect coach across leading UK Drama Schools (Mountview, RADA, Central, East 15). I also work 1:1 with private clients online on Singing, Spoken Voice, Accents and Dialects, Effective Communication, Accent Softening, LAMDA Exam Preparations and Audition Coaching.
I am a Vocal Health First Aider.

I teach across all Levels in the LAMDA syllabus and teach children from ages 5-18. I approach the LAMDA Exams with fun and positivity because I believe that it is the best way to allow a child to gain confidence in their abilities and more importantly themselves.
I have a large resource of fun and useful vocal exercises focusing on: Breath Support, Resonance, Articulation and Expression.
I like to make my sessions fun and accessible, and I adapt my process to work best for you!
I have had students that have progressed with me over the years and it gives me so much joy to see the improvement in their ability as a speaker and actor but also their confidence as a young person.
