Whether working towards your Trinity or ABRSM exams, or simply using your voice for fun, your singing lessons will be adapted to your requirements and needs. Lucy can suggest repertoire based on suitability for your voice type, or alternatively songs & pieces you love are welcomed.
Lucy's technique is based on the Accent Method, a holistic vocal teaching practice based on abdominal muscle engagement, and deep, relaxed, diaphragmatic breathing. Though this style was developed for operatic singers, these techniques can benefit candidates who are seeking to improve public speaking skills.
Singing lessons with Lucy are for all ages, from Key Stage 2 to adult learners. Lessons require no prior musical training, though singers who can read music with some proficiency will feel the most benefit.
