About Eliza
I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). In 2019 I completed 1 year full-time music theatre training at Showfit in Melbourne. I have been performing since 3 years old and started singing at 8. In 2018 I completed VCE Music Performance in Classical Voice, receiving an A in my both my theory and practical exams and a study score of 37, and studied AMEB music theory to Grade 5 level as well as voice to Grade 7. I also performed in the Australian tours of Annie and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and studied at New York University Steinhardt at the Summer Study in Music Theatre in 2017. I now am teaching private singing, music theatre, and dance across 6 studios and schools in Melbourne.

My lessons are very much about intertwining discovery of a person's unique voice with the technique required to allow that voice to be sustained. To me singing, especially in theatre, is all about the story. My goal is to create a versatile performer rather than a perfect model of what I believe a singer should be. As I am still studying myself I want to come on this journey with you. For younger students I want them to revel in creation and imagination. Learning singing is all about playing and exploring; finding love and joy in art. Parents are more than welcome to sit in on lessons.
