About Tara
Hi! I’m Tara
I’m a qualified Teacher’s Aide, online tutor, proud mom of three amazing children, and owner of three very naughty sausage dogs… who I’m still yet to successfully tutor!
Working with children has always been something I genuinely love and feel passionate about. Alongside my professional experience supporting students in schools and special needs education, I’ve also spent years helping and guiding my own children through their learning journeys, homework struggles, confidence-building moments, and all the ups and downs that come with growing young minds.
I believe learning should feel supportive, engaging, and enjoyable — never intimidating. Every child learns differently, and I pride myself on creating a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and celebrating their achievements.
I specialize in English, literacy, reading, writing, communication skills, homework help, and personalized learning support tailored to each student’s individual needs.
My teaching style is patient, positive, and full of encouragement, with a little humor along the way because I truly believe kids learn best when they feel happy, safe, and understood
When I’m not tutoring or supporting students, you’ll usually find me juggling mom life, drinking coffee, chasing sausage dogs around the house, or cheering on my kids from the sidelines of sport and life.

My name is Tara, and I’m a passionate, friendly, and supportive online tutor who loves helping students grow in confidence, learning, and English skills.
