About Marina
As a current student and tutor, I understand first hand that many students find the subjective side of English literature the most daunting part of the subject. Through my education at Waldegrave School for Girls and Tiffin School I've developed the skills needed to write convincing, concise essays, skills I'm passionate about passing on so my students can express themselves with clarity and confidence.

I help students develop a strong personal voice in their essay writing and build the confidence to form their own opinions on the texts they study. My tutoring focuses on the key learning objectives: textual analysis, literary context, comparison between texts and developing points with depth and clarity. I aim to help students excel academically while also fostering a passion for reading and writing.
