About Abigail
I graduated from Williams College with triple majors in Math, Chemistry, and Philosophy, and went on to earn a Master’s in Philosophy of Religion from Yale Divinity School. I’m now in my third year of teaching, and what I love most is helping students discover that learning can be enjoyable and rewarding. I’ve always been passionate about learning myself, and I teach so that others can experience that same excitement and confidence as they grow in their studies.

I break concepts down step by step and make sure students really understand by practicing problems together, then trying slightly tougher ones to check mastery. A typical lesson includes a quick review, clear explanation, guided examples, and independent practice. I work mainly with middle school and high school students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, and Precalculus. I also tutor Chemistry and help with Philosophy, especially paper writing. What sets me apart is my ability to explain ideas clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and build confidence along the way.
