Hello! My name is Melanie Rohena, and I’m a passionate and dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas State University and a TEFL certification from the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE). I have a strong foundation in both academic tutoring and behavioral support, with experience working with children of all abilities, including those with ADHD, ASD, and developmental disorders. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a teaching approach that is both compassionate and results-driven. I understand the importance of building trust and rapport with my students, which is why I tailor each lesson to suit their unique learning style and goals. Whether it’s supporting language development, helping with academic challenges, or teaching effective study habits, I am committed to helping every student succeed. I bring experience in diverse environments, including working as a Behavioral Technician and providing bilingual support in both English and Spanish. Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson starts with a brief review of prior material, followed by the introduction of new concepts using interactive practice. What Sets Me Apart: My experience working with diverse students, including those with ADHD, ASD, and language barriers, allows me to create tailored strategies that keep students motivated and engaged.
