About Wren
I have a BFA in creative writing from UVic and an MFA in creative writing and theatre from UBC. I've been tutoring one-on-one for five years, and I love working with adults or children. I've taught at the university level, and taught classes for adults and children in astronomy and science.

I use a lot of hands-on assignments. I believe the best way to learn is by doing it wrong, understanding why, and trying it again. Editing the work of others is also a great way to learn in groups, while editing your own work helps individual students learn. And above all else, a love of language and writing makes every lesson fun.
