I’m a piano tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Collaborative Piano and Chamber Music. I specialize in helping students arrange pop songs, explore modern chord voicings, and play confidently by ear. My lessons are always tailored to your interests, skill level, and goals. My piano teaching approach is modern, practical, and designed to help you play the music you love. I focus on pop piano techniques, playing by ear, and arranging contemporary songs with style. Students learn how to break down their favorite tracks and rebuild them using creative chord voicings and simple patterns.
We work on listening skills, rhythm feel, and how to recognize progressions by sound and shape. Each lesson is hands-on and filled with real music you can enjoy right away. I show students how to play confidently without always needing sheet music.
I'm especially good with The Hobbyist Adult and The Pop Player—those who want to sound great playing chart hits or classics at home, with friends, or even on stage. My method encourages curiosity, creativity, and practical progress.
