About Griffin
With over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Choral Conducting with a Vocal Emphasis, I specialize in preparing singers for the studio. I work with students who are stepping into professional recording sessions and want to sound their best in front of the mic. My teaching blends strong vocal technique with practical studio skills for R\&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Electronic styles. We focus on key elements like microphone control, vocal compression, auto-tune awareness, and layering harmonies with intention. I guide students through the technical and artistic sides of recording so they feel confident and prepared. Whether you’re singing lead, stacking backgrounds, or working on a hook, I help you deliver with clarity and emotion. I’ve coached school students, emerging artists, and adult singers who are preparing for commercial releases. My lessons are hands-on, encouraging, and tailored to each singer’s goals. We often simulate real recording scenarios so nothing feels unfamiliar in the studio. With the right training, anyone can grow into a skilled, expressive recording artist.
