About Olgar
I'm a Master's student in Health Data Science and Biostatistics at Wits, where I use advanced mathematics every day. For the past five years, I've helped students gain confidence, improve their marks, achieve distinctions and pass subjects they once thought were impossible. I enjoy tutoring high school (grades 8-12) Maths with English as the language of instruction.
I seek to teach the student based on their level and learning style. The best way to help someone improve is to identify where they are and how you can help them overcome the barriers keeping them there.
When it comes to Maths especially, practice is imperative. Star wars fans know that Yoda would say, "Fail you will if practice you don't." This is why practice questions and mock tests are a part of my lesson plans.

Olgar is a very nice tutor. I like how patient and kind she is. She helped me pass June exams and I'm less afraid of November exams because I know she'll find and fix the biggest issues I have.
