About Nick
I'm a native English speaker from Sydney, Australia with a passion for languages, culture, and international affairs. I have a Bachelor of Arts (Government & International Relations; Spanish & Latin American Studies) from the University of Sydney. Additionally, I'm CELTA-certified as of 2023. To compound my academic certifications, I currently teach Academic English at The University of New South Wales (UNSW) as well as teaching General English and IELTS at Navitas College, Sydney CBD. I have had many students successfully pass their IELTS examinations and go on to complete further studies here in Australia and abroad. I look forward to you being one of those students!

My lessons are highly structured and geared to help you pass your IELTS examination with flying colours. While I do offer hourly lessons, I recommend a minimum of 5-10 lessons to help you feel absolutely confident in your abilities to pass the IELTS examination. I have a Bachelor of Arts (Government & International Relations; Spanish & Latin American Studies) from the University of Sydney and a CELTA Certificate. Additionally, I currently work at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) as an Academic English Teacher. Lastly, I speak Spanish (B2/C1) and Italian (A2/B1), allowing me to understand the struggles that Spanish and Italian speakers face, as well as overcome them. This also allows me to understand the struggles of non-native English speakers.

Perfect! Nick has been incredibly helpful and encouraging as I prepare for my upcoming IELTS exam. He taught me new techniques that helped me understand the exam better. I was also able to openly share all my frustrations about the exam with him, which made the process much easier for me.

Perfect! Nick is a really fun and attentive teacher so whenever we came across an issue, Nick would help immediately without making me feel bad. Nick is also learning another language so he understands my struggle with pronunciation and spelling of certain words. Definitely a 5 for me :)

Nick is one of best teacher in Navtias. He is one of IELST course teacher. And he is patient, kind, and funny too. For example , he always try to speak slow and explain again when we don't understand. Also, when we just arrived in classroom that he use our language for say hello to us before starting. he always makes us felt happy.
