About Cara
I have a BA in Media Arts and Production from Emerson College. I have been a working writer, director, and AD for 10 years and have experience on both major motion pictures as well as small experimental and short films. Whether you want to learn how to make a 16mm music video with your friends or learn how to assistant direct on a set with a 100 person crew, I have years of expertise across many different formats of cinema.

I have a hands-on approach to teaching and love to get my students a camera in their hand so that they can learn by doing. I integrate film theory, lighting design, camera instruction, and scriptwriting into my teaching practice to allow my students to see all sides of film production and artistry.
