About Anna
I'm Anna, a graduate student pursuing my M.A. in English at Fitchburg State University, with a B.A. in Digital Journalism and Media from Penn State. I've been writing my whole life and have spent years building spaces for other writers to grow, from leading a Creative Writing Club and editing for a student newspaper, to founding a nationwide literary club for young writers. Whether you need help with structure, clarity, finding your voice, or just getting started, I'm here to help you get where you want to go.

My approach to tutoring is grounded in autonomy, creative expression, and critical thinking. I believe students learn best when they are encouraged to pursue their interests, ask questions, and actively engage with ideas. My role is to provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback while helping students build confidence in their own abilities.
Lessons are tailored to each student's goals and may include literary analysis, academic writing support, creative writing workshops, brainstorming, revision strategies, and discussion-based learning. I strive to create a collaborative environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas and developing their unique voices.
I hold an associate degree from Genesee Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Journalism and Media with a minor in Political Science from Penn State University. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in English at Fitchburg State University.
My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, college, and adult learners seeking support in English, literature, academic writing, creative writing, and critical reading skills.
