About James
I'm a novelist, copywriter, and university graduate who loves to read, write, and help people learn in a way that suits them best. I'm very experienced with writing in both a creative and formal context. I have an extensive knowledge of grammar, a keen grasp of sentence and paragraph structure, and I know how to adjust tone to produce a desired effect in a reader.
I want to emphasise that your unique learning style is what matters most, and I will tailor my approach to whichever suits you best. I am patient, understanding, and aware that there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to education.

I'm a strong believer in adjusting the teaching approach to fit your unique learning style. Many students struggle in a classroom setting, as they may find that that sort of environment doesn't suit them. Certain students will find that they struggle in group settings, but excel in one-on-one lessons with someone who is kind, patient, and knowledgeable.
This is particularly true of neurodiverse students, and I'm more than happy to tutor students who have conditions such as autism or ADHD. This is why I value getting to know the student themselves first. That way I can discover what sort of approach will help them best. My lessons will typically go for an hour, but this is customisable depending on your needs.
I'm passionate about education and helping people reach their full potential with my patient, open-minded approach to teaching. My lessons are for a wide range of ages and experience levels, from young children to university-level students. I hope to hear from you!
