About Afiq
I am currently studying material science and engineering in NUS and I can confidently say that it is very challenging. However, I really enjoy the modules on thermodynamics and kinetics. I aspire to inspire my students to become the best version of themselves. I do not believe in purely academics as it is your attitude and determination that will get you far in life.

I have been tutoring for 2 years and the education level of my students vary from primary to JC. I will consult the student and ask if he or she has any difficulty in a particular subject or area. I will go through any homework or pressing questions the student has and explain to him or her in detail how to tackle each problem. I believe in teaching concepts rather than giving the student the answer straight away. This can help motivate the student as they can now solve other problems. My lessons are usually 45 minutes to 1 and a half hours.
