About Grace
I am an aspiring lawyer with a particular interest in Spanish Law, currently approaching my final year of sixth form.
Having navigated the pressures and occasional confusion of GCSE myself not so long ago, I understand first-hand what it feels like to find a subject challenging, and more importantly, how to break through it.
Outside of academics, I play the piano, sing in a chamber choir, and run my school's debate club. So whether your student needs structure, creativity, or just someone who genuinely enjoys learning, I hope to bring all three to every session.

1) My Teaching Approach (multiple exam boards):
Maths: Sessions are built around targeted practice questions, logical thinking discussions, and stretch work to push you beyond the basics. No mark feels out of reach.
French and Spanish: I focus on confidence-building from the ground up. We'll dive into bite-sized speaking practice, fun media activities, guided wider reading, and focused grammar sessions that make the language click rather than feel like a chore. Fluency is key here, and I'm confident it's possible with practice!
English: We'll work on structured essay technique to thoroughly 'unpick' literature, develop close analysis skills with lucidity, and practise exam-focused writing tailored to AQA mark schemes. The same skills underpin the English Language GCSE Papers, but with a focus on real-world application and clear creative writing.
2) Lesson Structure:
Sessions typically run for one hour, though I'm happy to discuss a format that works best for you.
3) Experience & Qualifications:
I was formally trained as a Level 1 Mathnasium tutor, giving me a structured, proven foundation in breaking Maths down clearly and patiently. I have also tutored GCSE French within school, so I bring real tutoring experience alongside my own recent exam success.
As a native Spanish speaker (Latin American & neutral accent) I offer authentic and idiomatic Spanish, currently at a B2-C1 standard.
4) Who Are These Lessons For?
My sessions are designed for secondary school students aged 11–16 (from Year 7 right through to GCSE). Whether you're looking to build a strong foundation early or push for top grades in your exam year, I can tailor sessions to exactly where you are.
I take on a small number of students to keep the quality of each session high, so spots are limited.
