About Nathan

My name is Nathan Ebiti. I was born and raised in Nigeria and moved to Australia not too long ago. Because of the schooling system I was brought up in, I have a very good grasp of topics you may find challenging. I want to teach because I find myself content when I explain concepts to my peers that originally seemed complex to them but are now understandable and easier for them. With me just being 16, I think I will be able to connect with you easily and make hard subjects easier. Although some may consider my age a barrier, my reputation among students and teachers in my school can act as reassurance that I am capable of teaching you well.

About the lesson

As a result of how I was taught and my root understanding of the topics, I can break down seemingly complex concepts into much simpler ones that allows students to understand. I am also very young which makes it easier for me to connect with students and teach in a way that isn’t authoritative but interactive and engaging. I can teach yr 7s to yr 11s in subjects such as physics, maths and chemistry. In order to ensure a full understanding on concepts, lessons could range from 2-3hrs. I often prefer explaining concepts without textbooks or slides, as it allows me to set the foundation for your understanding of the topic before introducing complex-looking formulae

I know Nathan through his work as a Maths tutor and have seen how clearly he explains difficult concepts. He is patient, supportive, and focuses on helping students truly understand rather than memorise.

During one session, I struggled with a topic, and Nathan broke it down step by step until I could solve similar questions on my own. He stayed calm and encouraging the whole time.

I would recommend Nathan to any student who wants to improve their Maths skills and gain confidence.

Nathan and I are childhood friends. Nathan likes to teach with a lot of examples, and he takes his time to explain each one. He uses different methods for different students, tailoring them to fit their needs. He once helped my sister and me ace a test on logarithms by teaching us individually according to what our problems were.

He is a very hands on and interactive tutor that makes every lecture much more interesting and easy to learn

The best thing being that he takes math from being an abstract concept to making it more relatable in real life situations and that has really helped me improve a lot in math. I highly recommend Nathan
