About Evelyn

Sometimes it feels strange to admit that I prefer the structure of a difficult equation over almost anything else in my day. Teaching acts as the perfect outlet for that preference while allowing me to utilize my BSc in Actuarial Studies and Mathematics. Over 15 years, I have worked with 331 students ranging from school children to adults in various careers. It is interesting to see how the same principles of logic apply regardless of the age of the person sitting across the screen.
My personal narrative involves helping high achieving Year 11 and 12 students navigate the path toward competitive university placements. I keep things grounded and straightforward because math is hard enough without adding unnecessary layers of complexity.
