About Gianna
I am a passionate guitar tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, and I also perform and compose music regularly. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Guitar Studies, which has given me a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary guitar techniques. I believe music is a creative and lifelong skill, and I strive to share that belief with all my students. I work with beginners who are just picking up the instrument, as well as advanced musicians looking to refine their skills and explore new styles. My lessons focus on technique, musicality, and personal expression. I emphasize creativity, encouraging students to compose, improvise, and develop their own voice on the guitar. I also teach modern skills like recording, layering, and performance techniques for live shows or social media content. I aim to make each session engaging, interactive, and rewarding. My goal is to foster a genuine love of learning and help students express themselves through music. Seeing my students grow and gain confidence brings me immense satisfaction. I am committed to guiding every student, whether beginner or advanced, toward achieving their musical goals. For me, teaching guitar is about inspiring creativity, building skills, and nurturing a lifelong connection with music.

My teaching approach is student-focused and flexible. I work with beginners, intermediate players, and advanced musicians, helping each student progress at their own pace. I emphasize building a strong foundation in guitar techniques, including classical, jazz, acoustic, electric, and bass styles.
I encourage creative expression through fingerstyle and modern playing methods. Students learn not only to play but also to compose, record, and layer their music. I teach practical recording skills and live looping techniques to help them produce professional-sounding tracks.
Performance refinement is a key part of my lessons. I guide students in developing confidence and stage presence, preparing them for live shows or social media content creation. I also focus on music theory and ear training to strengthen overall musicianship.
Each lesson is structured to balance technical skills, creativity, and enjoyment. I motivate students to set goals and celebrate achievements. My aim is to support learners in excelling as performers, recording artists, and independent musicians.
