About Fia
Hi! I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Voice. I love helping students of all levels—school, college, and adult learners—discover and develop their unique voices. My lessons are personalised, ensuring each student progresses at their own pace while exploring a wide range of styles, including classical, pop, movie, and folk singing. I focus on ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory to strengthen both musical understanding and practical skills. Vocal confidence is at the heart of my teaching—I guide students in safe techniques that protect their voice while allowing freedom of expression. My sessions are interactive and supportive, combining structured exercises with creative exploration. I believe every voice has its own story, and my goal is to help students bring that story to life. Whether refining tone, mastering phrasing, or performing confidently, I’m here to guide every step. For Quartet Players, prioritise blend, tuning, and harmonisation. Work on sight-singing and part independence using vocal apps that isolate harmonies. Encourage expressive phrasing within group dynamics, emphasising listening and adjusting to others. Rotate lead and supporting roles to strengthen versatility and confidence. Record sessions in a DAW to monitor ensemble balance, intonation, and emotional delivery. Practise genre-specific adaptations to expand repertoire and flexibility. Always finish with reflective review, noting growth and areas to challenge next.
