About Rebecca
I have been teaching piano lessons for 25 years, and voice lessons for 15 years. I began playing piano at the age of 10. I continued taking lessons throughout high school and college. While in college I played piano and keyboards in a band, and also took music theory and music history classes. I played piano and sang at church for several years. I have participated in numerous musical theater productions as a performer, music director, director and writer. I was a church choir director for several years, and currently direct two a cappella singing groups. I also play harp and ukulele, and am learning cello.

My singing lessons are perfect for singers at least age five (to adult) who have little or no lesson experience. I teach the foundational basics of proper breathing and technique before you move on to a more advanced (and expensive!) instructor. I also teach sight-singing/note reading, and can help you with your choir music, or to prepare for an audition. I also work well with adults who want to try singing for fun.
