About Nour
I am a fourth year student at the University of Ottawa who has been in French schools since elementary. I love lending a hand out so I can help others and I know that my experience can help someone out. As a kinesthetic learner who used to get distracted easily as a child, I understand what students need help with and how to get them to pay attention. Sometimes a warm hand and a leap of faith is all it takes. I have worked my way up to a student with an average of 80% and 97% in French class.

Since I was an IB student in my French school, I learned new ways to help tutor from different perspectives. We would work on homework and try to have conversations together or even imagine fake scenarios that help you think in French. French can seem hard, but, once you talk regularly to people in the language, you can master it. I am a bubbly and passionate helper who has many experiences with children (i.e. Nieces and Nephews). I understand the want to give up on homework, but you have to fight back so you can feel confident in your language skills. I tutor elementary to high school grade 11 students that need help with their French classes. Currently, I am entering third year at the University of Ottawa in Environmental Science.

We could meet at the public library and book a room to tutor, or online through Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom. The first lesson is free through online Zoom or Google Meet so we can get to know each other. If cancelled within 24 hours cancellation policy 50%. Over the summer, online would be preferred for travel reasons.
