About Aurora
With over 11 years of experience, I specialise in teaching guitar to students with learning differences, including ADHD, dyslexia, and anxiety. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music (Guitar) and have a strong background in music therapy and special education principles. My teaching approach is adaptive and strengths-based, focusing on each student’s unique abilities and learning style. I create a supportive environment where students feel understood, motivated, and empowered to grow. Lessons combine technique, theory, improvisation, and expressive playing, tailored to individual needs. I have helped students at all levels—from beginners to advanced learners—build confidence and achieve success through music. Small group sessions, one-on-one lessons, and digital tools like recording apps and chord software enhance engagement and learning. I emphasise consistent progress while encouraging creativity and self-expression. Whether preparing for exams, performances, or personal goals, my focus is on nurturing each student’s potential. Every lesson is structured to celebrate achievements and turn challenges into opportunities. I am committed to fostering a safe, inclusive space where students of all abilities can thrive. Music becomes not only a skill but a source of joy, confidence, and self-discovery. Together, we explore, create, and succeed—one note at a time.

I provide technique-focused, expressive, and engaging guitar lessons designed to help students reach their full potential. Specialising in electric guitar and performance coaching, I focus on building both skill and confidence. Lessons cover a wide range of topics, including music theory, improvisation, sight-reading, and ensemble playing. I offer small group sessions as well as individual lessons, ensuring personalised attention while encouraging collaboration. Curriculum alignment is a priority, helping students progress steadily towards their goals. Digital tools play a key role in my teaching. I use amp simulators, chord diagram apps, and DAWs to make learning interactive and practical. These tools help students experiment, record, and track their progress effectively. I support students at all stages—whether refining their recording and performance skills or catching up after a late start—guiding them to excel and build confidence. Each lesson is designed to be motivating, creative, and tailored to individual goals. My aim is to inspire a passion for guitar, nurture expressive playing, and help every student achieve success on stage and in the studio.
