Derek was able to greatly help me with my iOS app using Swift. He’s very knowledgeable on the up-to-date material and practices, and knows how to make coding an iOS app as easy as possible. Hi! I am a senior software developer with 20+ years of experience and hundreds of projects under my belt. I have worked in high levels of government and led application development from scratch for many successful startups. I have hired in my company and for other companies hundreds of developers, many junior and entry-level, and shown them the tricks of the trade and taught them the skills and areas of study necessary to be a successful developer. I am very happy to offer my services and give you the tutoring you need to learn to be a good coder, learn the industry, and how to be a professional. I have been at this for 20+ years and am still going strong. Tutoring is my way to share what I love.
I am expert in C#, .Net, Swift, Python, PHP, TypeScript and JavaScript as well as Windows operating systems, Linux systems, Visual Studio, Xcode and much more. I can show you how to find the solutions to your challenges, how to organize your code from scratch and how to navigate what's important to learn and what is just not valuable for your career. I am also an expert in the technical job interview. I can show you exactly how to find work and how to land high-paying projects. I have done it hundreds of times, am still at it and will give this knowledge to you.
