About Kimia
I am a yoga and meditation teacher with more than a decade of personal practice and several years of teaching experience. I also hold a Master’s degree in Vedic Studies and have studied yoga philosophy, meditation traditions, Ayurveda (Vedic medicine) and jyotish (Vedic Astrology)
My intention is to share a more conscious and balanced way of living inspired by Vedic wisdom. The body, mind, and emotions are deeply connected. When we work with the body through mindful specific movement and proper breath, we can also influence our emotional and mental state.

My teaching combines precise physical guidance with a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy and holistic well‑being. Through the Iyengar method I focus on safe alignment and mindful movement, helping students build strength, flexibility, and body awareness step by step.
Sessions usually include yoga postures (asana), breath awareness, relaxation, and sometimes meditation or Yoga Nidra. The intention of the practice is to bring awareness to the body and breath, helping the body and mind move toward greater harmony, balance, and calm.

If you choose a longer program (for example a 10‑session course), I will provide a short questionnaire based on Ayurvedic principles. This helps identify your body–mind constitution (dosha) and your individual needs.
Based on this understanding, the sessions can be adapted and personalized, creating a more holistic practice that supports both physical balance and mental well‑being.
