What sets my teaching style from other Yoruba instructors is that I bring in my experience in cultural research to teach my students.
As a Ph.D. holder in culture and ethnography of West Africa, I instill in my students the Yoruba people's culture and tradition. Not only do they learn how to speak and write in Yoruba, but they also are encouraged to understand the culture of this unique group of individuals. We learn how basic processes are done like marriage, naming ceremony, general festivities, and folklores, but to mention a few. At the end of this course, you are well equipped with all that is to being Yoruba.
