About James
I started singing over 20 years ago in the Australian Youth Choir. When I was in high school I was accepted in the NSW Talent Identification Program and performed for The Directors Choice Awards. For my first professional gig, I was in the ensemble for Carmen The Opera. I then started to perform at shopping malls during school holidays as a childrens entertainer, and have been cast in many lead roles for Musical Theatre Productions.
I am now a student at The Academy of Music and Performing Arts

My teaching methods are very systematic, however lessons can also be tailored to the needs of each student.
My aim is to instill total vocal control to my students by educating them about the muscles in the mouth and throat, as well as how their vocal folds (vocal chords) move, so they are able to learn control and can use their voice to its full potential.
They will also learn: breathe control, how to properly warm up their voices, vocal exercises and techniques that enhance tone and extends vocal range, how to interpret and connect to lyrics and music as well as vocal health maintanace tips
