About Oscar
I have been delivering fun and stimulating violin and piano lessons since 2011 to pupils aged 5 to 16 in Leeds and also for a short period in Sydney, Australia.
All my students and their parents have commended my commitment to keeping the fun and enthusiasm of young students intact in the challenging path of musical learning.

I try and offer a free and open approach to musical learning that is very much geared towards improvisation and play. However, I am also fully qualified and capable of guiding a student through ABRSM grades if requested.
I am a professional, classically trained violinist and pianist with additional extensive experience in folk and jazz styles. At eleven I became a founding member of Yorkshire Young Musicians and was leader of the Leeds Youth Orchestra by sixteen. I have received 1st class training as a violinist and pianist from renowned tutors from the RNCM and The Royal College London and have independently performed nationally and abroad in small classical and folk music festivals.

Details
For particularly advanced pupils the rate will be upped to £30 per hour.
For under 7s the rate will be downgraded to £20 per hour.
In exceptional cases I may have to charge for travel costs.
