About Kaylin
I am a current theatre major who has been mentoring children and young adults through musical theatre for four years. If I had to give a number I’d say I’ve taught at least 35 students. They’ve all continued to practice theatre. Many have gotten leads in their high school productions but more importantly they are willing to go the extra mile in every audition. My goal is to build confidence and guide a client’s choices to become the best actor/actress they can be. I can also help young aspiring techies with their organizational skills. I’ve been a stage manager, and costumer for a few shows such as The Little Mermaid and Once On This Island.

My teaching method is to push you as far you can go. I will try different ways to get you out of your comfort zone because once you are out of that mindset the possibilities are endless. I ask that you come with something prepared a monologue, a song (16-32 bars) or both. From that jumping off point we can dive into understand character etc. Please know that I understand anxiety. I can also help with developing coping skills for performing with anxiety.
