About Carmen
I am a young girl, which I think is good because I inspire more confidence in the student than an adult. In addition to being young, my methodology is not the traditional one that often leads to learning problems. I have just returned from a year abroad, in Canada and therefore I have a very good level of English. Another advantage of having been in Canada is that my accent is very neutral, since they have both British and American influence there. When it comes to work, facing the future of the student, although the important thing is the level, I think it is good to have almost no accent, since there are a lot of people who do not like either the British or the American accent. The fact of having been away for a year alone has given me another perspective on life and that is why I am now much more open-minded than many teachers. Even so, depending on my age and level of English, the classes can be more formal, I am about to turn 17.

As I have already said, I think that sometimes the problem is that the way of teaching is not suitable for the child. Children have much greater creative potential than adults, but in most schools and courses, this creativity is not encouraged but repressed. That is why I try to take advantage of the creativity and vitality of children to teach them the subject. In this way, they have more fun than in their normal classes and that helps them learn. This does not mean that sometimes we have to do more traditional exercises. In addition, my way of teaching is based on the personality of the child, since each one is different. For example: If your child is very talkative, perhaps the way to improve his English is to let him tell us the adventures of his favorite character, or tell us a story. On the contrary, if your child is one of those who does not stop, perhaps the way to teach him is not glued to the chair writing, but to play games in which he has to use English but in turn, can move around the bedroom. That he likes to watch TV, because we watch them in English; who likes board games, because I can make a game in which I have to use the vocabulary learned .... Children all have different personalities and therefore, a class that amuses them and that is based on their personality is the best way to teach them.

Perfect! Carmen es una chica estupenda, puntual, y que tiene mucha pasión por el idioma que enseña.. Para los peques es perfecta.. nuestra hija de 8 años quedó encantada cuando dio clase con ella, hasta tal punto que quería que viniera los fines de semana :) eso lo dice todo verdad?

Carmen da clase a mi hijo de 6 años y se le dan muy bien los niños. Tiene mucha energía, es muy dinámica y alegre.
Se preocupa porque el niño aprenda. Es muy puntal y muy buena profesora. Sin duda la recomiendo.Carmen es una buenísima profesora que tiene como punto fuerte la manera de motivar a sus alumnos y de invitarles al estudio de manera constante y entregada.
