About Amira
I studied French Language Education at the University of Wisconsin with specialization in teaching complete beginners who feel intimidated by foreign languages. My 5 years of experience include working with students who have tried to learn French before and felt defeated, those who think they're "bad at languages," and people who need lots of extra patience and encouragement. I've spent time in Bordeaux, France, but I remember exactly how scary French felt when I was beginning too!

Worried that French is too difficult? Afraid you'll never be able to pronounce words correctly? Think grammar is impossible to understand? I've helped hundreds of complete beginners overcome these exact same fears! Speaking - If French pronunciation feels scary, we'll start with simple sounds and gradually build up to full words and sentences. Listening - If French sounds too fast, we'll use very slow, clear audio and gradually increase speed as your ears adjust. Reading - If French words look confusing, we'll start with basic sentences and simple texts that build your confidence. Vocabulary - If you can't remember new words, we'll use fun memory tricks and lots of repetition until they stick naturally. Writing - If French grammar seems impossible, we'll start with basic sentence patterns and add complexity very slowly. Everything is broken down into the smallest possible steps so you never feel overwhelmed.
