About Winona

Graduating with a BM in Music Production from Berklee College of Music gave me the technical foundation to support my teaching. The classroom was never actually my plan, yet one to one work became the space where I found my real stride. I have spent 4 years working with independent artists, career switchers, and beginners who struggle to finish their ideas.

Adapting my format to the person is vital because no 2 students arrive at my door with the same goals or obstacles. Some individuals are bored because they are too far ahead, while others feel anxious about falling behind.

I maintain a warm and patient environment to ensure we build something that lasts rather than something fast that collapses. My approach ensures that the foundation holds up over time. I get you finishing tracks.

About the lesson

Starting a track often feels like staring at a blank page until we establish the specific song structure of verse, chorus, and bridge. I pace our time together so we handle prosody and lyric writing with care instead of rushing through the creative process.

You will find that my experience allows us to toggle between harmony basics and the small details that make a demo stand out. Feedback happens in real time as we refine your imagery and find your unique voice together.

We work through the friction of writing to a brief by breaking the technical elements into manageable parts. Clear goals keep the momentum steady through every phase of the composition. You leave each session with a completed idea.
