About Leola

Technical mastery requires navigating improvisation, soloing, and complex scales or modes. I hold a Bachelor of Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, which informs how I teach reading sheet music and various strumming patterns.

My students often need help with chord transitions, power chords, tuning, and maintenance or lead guitar technique. I have spent 8 years observing that students are either ahead and bored or behind and anxious. Both states are entirely workable, so feel free to reach out.

About the lesson

You will find that your lessons involve a dedicated practice module to keep your momentum steady across every single session. We utilise my background in classical performance to dissect the mechanics of your fretboard movement while ensuring your hands remain relaxed during demanding passages. Since I teach 104 students, I have learnt that showing the thinking out loud often clears the path for rapid progress.

I identify the one specific thing blocking your development, whether that is a rigid grip or an inconsistent rhythm. This systematic methodology ensures that even the most frustrating chord changes eventually become second nature through consistent, incremental shifts.
