About Alyssa
Immersed in the arts world, I have honed my skills in drawing, painting and sculpture throughout 10 years of artistic training. As a graduate of Design from OCAD University, I am trained to see the technique and detail in design work while appreciating creative concepts. I bring this training to my methodologies in teaching. Having taught both French & Art for two years, I am passionate about working with children and allowing them to explore their creativity. I approach each project and class as a means of developing students’ skills, creativity and confidence in art.

As we continue to stay at home, I am offering low cost art classes to children in hopes of expanding their activities and creativity during this time. During each one hour lesson, your child will complete a full artwork. Each week will build on skills, techniques and an eye for art. I find success in group lessons as I see the value in children interacting and sharing their work across screens during this time. The materials required for these classes are minimal with the goal of keeping these lessons as accessible as possible.
I offer courses in Art Discovery (ages 6-9), Architecture (ages 10-15) and Figure Drawing (ages 10-15).

Our first 60 min lesson is Free and determines your child's level and interest. I run this first lesson as a typical art class and encourage parents to join in to meet me and see my methods in action :)
