About Sam
Hi, I’m Sam, a composer and conductor currently studying Composition for Film. My musical background spans a wide range of styles — from classical to heavy metal — and I draw on that versatility to create expressive, dynamic music across genres. I’ve composed for video games, short films, and orchestral performances, and I’m passionate about blending traditional orchestration with modern sound design to tell stories through music. Beyond composition, I’m the conductor of a symphony orchestra, have sung in a choir for two years, and have extensive experience in both live and studio settings. Running my own recording studio allows me to experiment freely and bring a professional polish to my projects. I’ve also performed in pit bands for theatre productions, deepening my understanding of how music connects with drama and narrative. As a composer, I aim to craft music that resonates emotionally and intellectually — balancing structure and creativity to produce meaningful, memorable sound worlds.

I also incorporate technology using Logic Pro and Sibelius, helping students bring their ideas to life through professional tools. Lesson Length: Each lesson typically lasts 30 minutes, offering a focused, productive session that can be tailored to your individual goals and pace. About Me: I’m Sam, a tutor, conductor of a symphony orchestra, and composer for video games and short films.
