About Foster

With 5 years of experience teaching Guitar, lessons emphasize technical skill and expressive playing. Instruction combines structured guidance with practical exercises to ensure skill mastery. Passionate about music, students are guided to perform confidently while understanding musical concepts. Lessons provide comprehensive training in chords, fingerstyle, and improvisation to prepare for recitals and exams. Beyond lessons, focus is on building confidence, creativity, and musical intuition. Students are encouraged to experiment with different styles, develop personal interpretation, and grow as independent musicians capable of performing anywhere.

About the lesson

Lessons develop finger dexterity, chord transitions, and strumming techniques through structured exercises and practice pieces. Students learn both classical and contemporary styles while focusing on timing, rhythm, and musicality. Lessons integrate theory with hands-on practice for full understanding.

Assignments and practice sessions emphasize skill development, improvisation, and music reading. Students are guided through step-by-step exercises to build technique and confidence. Emphasis is placed on performing complete pieces to apply skills effectively.

Performance preparation is a key focus, with mock recitals and recordings to evaluate progress. Constructive feedback strengthens technique, expression, and stage readiness. Lessons encourage students to explore personal style and creativity while reinforcing core guitar skills.
