About Kristi
I am a vocal coach and piano instructor. I have taught students for several years and absolutely love hearing and seeing the progress. I've been singing my whole life and studied under Ken Church, a baritone who had a full ride scholarship to Juilliard. I've been playing the piano for 30 years and developed a unique music wheel to simplify and improve piano skills for all levels. I currently sing in the Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra and am the Music director for a cute little Episcopal church. When I'm not singing, playing piano, or learning violin, you can find me at the yoga studio or outside enjoying the sunshine.

My piano instruction includes core concepts that include using chords almost immediately to help improvise and create songs from the beginning to advanced student. I prefer the Faber Method, but also use Alfred books if preferred.
My vocal instruction focuses on creating the best sound possible from your voice. I use a variety of warm-ups to chisel away and shape the most beautiful sound. I also give instruction on music theory and singing. Small tiny adjustments can make all the difference.
