About Tom
Hi, I’m Tom and I’m a semi-professional guitarist with rock, pop, blues and soul influences, with experience in session work, live gigging and musical theatre. Growing up, I self-taught myself and was making steady progress however, the real difference came when I started taking lessons and it unlocked an entire new area to my playing. I believe it’s important to help guide students through their strengths and weaknesses in order to make them the best player they can be.

I offer a holistic approach to learning, I think it’s important to gauge influences, different playing styles and needs from the lessons. My typical lesson lasts 1 hour and will be tailored exactly to the individual's needs.
I’ll help the student to learn different scales, playing styles and different songs as well as how to learn by ear and improvise.
