About Remi

Specialist in contemporary fingerstyle guitar, Remi Cote is an emerging professional artist, composer, and arranger from Saguenay, Quebec. A promising voice in instrumental music, Remi explores the full potential of the acoustic guitar through his many original compositions and arrangements. Over the past few years, he has refined his contemporary fingerstyle approach, combining various advanced and distinctive techniques. His music is rooted in classical technique and enriched with elements of pop, folk, and indie.
At 23 years old, he is now an official artist for Beauregard Guitars and has released two solo albums, in addition to having a European tour to his credit. A two-time 2nd place winner at the International Guitar Competition 2025 & 2026 in Poland, he continues to build his career through numerous performances on stage.

About the lesson

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced guitarist looking to take your playing to the next level, I'll help you achieve your musical goals!
My lessons can cover a wide range of topics, including:

- Fingerstyle guitar: Learn percussive techniques, tapping, harmonics, and how to combine melody, bass, and rhythm into a complete arrangement.

- Acoustic and electric guitar: Develop your technique, coordination, rhythm, and musical expression.

- Songs and arrangements: Learn your favorite songs, including video game soundtracks, movie themes, pop music, and more.

- Music theory and composition: Understand how music works, develop your creativity, and learn to write your own music.

- Technique and performance: Improve your precision, speed, confidence, and overall playing.

With over 17 years of guitar experience and a specialization in contemporary fingerstyle, I can adapt each lesson to your level, interests, and personal goals. My goal is to make learning guitar enjoyable, motivating, and rewarding:)
